About the Chef
David Nelson (Chef/Owner) has over 15 years of experience in the Food Service Industry. He has graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Hospitality Management and Business from SJSU. While completing his formal training, he mentored under Celebrity Chef Emile Mooser (Emile’s). David was fortunate to work closely with Chef Emile for an 8 year apprenticeship where he learned both modern and classical culinary techniques as well as the business side of the industry. Outside of the kitchen, David is a Professional Skateboarder and a visual artist who has traveled the world in pursuit of his passions.
